Feminism, in its original definition, is the advocacy of women’s rights on the basis of equality of the sexes.

So, women should have the same rights as men.

By that definition, I am a feminist.

But somewhere down the line of standing up for women, the definition of the word itself becomes clouded. It’s meaning takes shifts—on the one hand becoming radical (men are to blame for everything and women should never be sexualized or objectified) right over to the other (women can do whatever they absolutely want and no one should stop them from feeling empowered).

It’s all very confusing.

Case in point: Kim Kardashian’s Skims Nipple Bra.
